Glow Recipe Watermelon Edition
Just in time for Valentine’s Day, I wanted to share two of my new favorites by Glow Recipe watermelon edition. I have been a fan of K Beauty for many years, and I fell in love with Glow Recipe products ever since I tried their Watermelon Mask, which is featured in this post. I followed the hype and got myself the Watermelon Moisturizer that was recently released. I just knew it had to be as awesome as the mask is, and it did not disappoint.
Glow Recipe Watermelon Glow Sleeping Mask
I’m sure most people who got to smell this jar of watermelon-y goodness got sold on the spot. The sweet and fresh scent of watermelon is intoxicating! I got this mask as a sample at Sephora a while back, and immediately had to go back and get the full jar. I was afraid it will break me out, but it absolutely did not. This gel based mask can be (and works better when) left on overnight. You apply it to your face using a little spoon that comes with it, then rub it evenly all over your face, letting the mask dry before heading to bed. It absorbs fairly quickly and just feels just like a bouncy gel based night serum.
The first time I used it I noticed a huge difference in how radiant and even-toned my skin looked in the morning, without bing greasy or wet-looking. My face feels very soft and supple after using this mask. This is how my no makeup days start.
Glow Recipe Watermelon Pink Juice Moisturizer
I stopped by at Sephora yesterday to grab a bottle of this yummy-looking pink moisturizer. Considering how much I loved the mask, I just new my skin will fall in love with this moisturizer as well. The Glow Moisturizer is very similar to the mask. It smells the same, looks the same, the only difference is in texture. This “juice” is a little lighter than the mask and it feels a bit less sticky upon application. I use the moisturizer in the morning and the mask at night, and they work perfectly together.
This pink moisturizer is cooling and calming, works well with my sensitive combo skin. It is also very moisturizing without being oily. Perfect for prepping your face for makeup and getting that healthy glow!
Both the mask and the moisturizer are formulated without Parabens, Sulfates or Phthalates. The formulas are all natural, so the shelf life is shorter.
