My Petit Vour beauty box reviews have been paused for quite some time now, but I certainly have not stopped my subscription. Reviewing each box is such a tedious process and I have been pressed for free time, and being the perfectionist that I am, I simply did not want to waste too much time reviewing the last several months worth of boxes. Petit Vour February 2016 Box is here though, and it has a new look now, so I am excited to share this month’s box with you guys!
I’m mostly excited about this little shadow stick in this month’s box. The color I got is Bay and it is a “pale gold”, more like a soft champagne, not too shimmery and not too yellow. I personally love it and think the color perfect for me!
This shadow stick goes on very smoothly and is easily bendable. You can certainly build the color depending on the look you are trying to achieve, but I love a light shimmering “glaze” over my eyelids to keep my eyes looking bright.
This is a great natural and nourishing coconut oil hair mask. You warm it up in a microwave for about 20 seconds and apply it to your hair for 20 minutes, or as an overnight treatment for even better results. This mask is good for restoring damaged, dry and lifeless hair.
I have previously reviewed a similar konjac sponge in my Vegan Cuts box review (here). This time it is a red clay konjac sponge. I own just about every kind of konjac sponge, and they are all great. I don’t see any huge difference in the results I get from using each kind, so I wouldn’t sweat over which one to pick. They all do a great job at cleaning your pores, and the results are noticeable after first use. I see cleaner pores right away, the sponge does a great job at cleansing and massaging your face.
I love AILA nail polishes, they are of great quality. These nail polish remover wipes are also great, they remove regular nail polish very well and one wipe is enough to remove polish from both hands. But I think the price you pay for the convenience of using a prepared wipe is too high. It is a great alternative for traveling, but I wouldn’t use it as my regular nail polish remover, just based on the cost.
