I have had a brief introduction to Diva Stuff a while back, and I am happy I got to try this wonderful skincare brand again. Diva Stuff product selection is truly overwhelming, there are SO many to choose from! The products I am reviewing here are from my recent skincare haul at Diva Stuff.
I initially tried this face scrubbie as a sample. It comes as a piece of washcloth soaked with Glycerin Soap, Turmeric, Baking Soda, Cinnamon Powder, Cinnamon Oil, Lemongrass Powder, and Lemon Oil. You simply run it under warm water for several seconds until moistened and softer, then rub it over your face, focusing on areas with dirty pores and blackheads. You can leave the paste on your face for a minute or so, then rinse it with warm water. You get a tingling sensation after using this scrubbie, so your face may appear red at first, but it calms down later and gives you a nice glow. I prefer using the scrubbie at night to give my skin time to recover and rip off all the benefits.
This scrubbie is EVERYTHING! I remember how amazed I was at the results when I first tried it. It simply vacates all the dirt from your pores. Turmeric has been used for centuries in skincare. It is great at clearing acne scars and inflammation, as well as at reducing sebum secretion. Cinnamon is also a great acne-clearing agent and anticeptic. It also improves your complexion, stimulates blood vessels, and reduces signs of aging.
The scrubbies can be used 2-3 times, depending of how long you use them each time. There is more than enough paste on each scrubbie, so just rinse it off after using and let it air dry. If you don’t like the idea of re-using the same scrubbie, you can also cut it in half and use a smaller piece instead. The full size is easier to use, but I have done the cutting when I had this product as a sample, and it worked very well.
This was my first time trying this exotic yellow powder-to-paste scrub. I was worried that this scrub will stain my fingers and nails, because turmeric always stains my hands when I cook with it. But this product has washed off my hands without any trouble — no yellow staining was left behind whatsoever, making me and my manicure very happy.
This scrub works it’s magic very fast! Might not be suitable for sensitive skin. Adding it to wet hands activates the baking soda and gets some bubbling action going. This scrub cleans out your pores and makes them smaller. Aside from turmeric and baking soda this scrub contains papaya powder, which breaks down oil in your pores. The pores look noticeably smaller after using this scrub. Follow with a moisturizer to prevent your skin from over-drying.
Ingredients: baking soda, citric acid, sodium laureth sulfate, turmeric, papaya powder, lemongrass powder, kaolin clay, cornstarch, honey powder, cinnamon oil, lime oil, and aloe oil.
Diva Stuff Micellar Cleansing Water with Tamanu Oil
This product hasn’t been officially released yet, so it’s great to be one of the first ones to give it a try. I believe that the full size product will come in a pump bottle, but the sample came in a spray bottle.
Micelles are tiny balls of cleansing oil which are attracted to oil and dirt in your skin. This micellar water cleanser clears your skin from impurities without drying it out. This cleanser isn’t good for cleaning your face from makeup, so you want to remove all the makeup first. I use my cleansing oil prior to using this cleanser, then use a cotton ball to apply the water cleanser onto my face. There is no need to rinse this cleanser off afterwards. I look at this cleanser as a toner more than a cleanser. Follow with your favorite serum and moisturizer.
This cleanser is great for sensitive or dry skin, but works well with any skin type.
There are always samples included in your order, which is a great way to try some of the many products. These and the Micellar cleanser were added to my order for sampling. WIN!
